ABUA [American Beach Ultimate Association]

You might not know it, but YOU ALREADY KNOW THE ABUA.

ABUA is the parent organization that hosts the Wildwood Beach Ultimate Tournament every summer in Wildwood NJ.

ABUA Core Purpose

The ABUA is dedicated to the continued growth of the sport of Beach Ultimate by strengthening competition in the local, national and global Beach Ultimate community. We strive to produce the best tournament experiences for all of our participants.

ABUA Core Values

We love beach ultimate & think tournaments are a ton of fun! ABUA is open to supporting varied formats of the game we love. For example, Wildwood is a co-ed ONLY 4 on 4 tournament with divisions for 3M/1F and 2M/2F, and has a 2-point goal for endzone-to-endzone passes. On the other hand, LAThrowback was a standard 5 on 5 tournament with Masters, and Co-ed 3/2-m/f brackets.

ABUA Mission

ABUA was created from the organizers of the Wildwood tournament, to promote Beach Ultimate.

We are striving to create a beach ultimate tournament series. Additionally, we hope to gain a greater presence by having a national coast-to-coast series of events.
